Paul P. Lin, Esq.

Mr. Lin has extensive experience in the areas of law encompassing estate planning, probate, and conservatorship. He has drafted revocable trusts for numerous clients with diverse needs, including simple married trusts, a credit shelter trusts, disclaimer trusts, and special needs trusts, among others. He also drafts the corresponding wills, powers of attorney, and property transfer agreements. Depending on a particular client’s circumstances, he may recommend irrevocable trusts and other estate planning strategies.

When a loved one passes away, Mr. Lin will assist the family with the probate process or with trust settlement, if one exists. He will coordinate tax returns with tax professionals on federal estate or other tax issues.  Mr. Lin has also guided many families experiencing the anxiety and burden of taking care of beloved family members with mental incapacity through the difficult process of obtaining conservatorship.

Mr. Lin’s years as a physician provide him with the knowledge and experience in advising clients with drafting advance healthcare directives.  He is able to help clients consider end-of-life issues from both medical and legal perspectives.

Mr. Lin received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Whittier Law School. He attended Stanford University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with Honors. After receiving a M.D. degree from University of Washington, he practiced medicine for many years before becoming a lawyer.

Mr. Lin is a member of the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Central District of California and in all California state courts.
